Aluminium Bi-Fold Door saves space for our small and limited space toilet in HDB, Condominium and Apartment in Singapore. Aluminium Bi-Fold Door do not need the floor space that a traditional Swing door requires for opening and closing. The Basic Bi-Fold Door has 2 sections that works on top and bottom track.

Premium Aluminium Bifold

The Premium Bi-Fold Door has 4 sections that works top and bottom track.

Top Hung Bifold

Top Hung Bi-Fold Door Panels slide by means of stainless steel rollers on the top track.

Measurement of Toilet Door

Do you know that there are different size/ measurement for toilet door in Singapore. Most of us reside in HDB Flats and some in Condo, Apartment or Landed. Every door frame in the house can also have different measurements. There are also different type of toilet doors being used by Home owners, consisting mainly: Aluminium Bifold Door, Wooden Swing Door, PVC Bifold, PD door and Slide and Swing Door.

For HDB Flats whose toilets that comes with existing doors frame. The usual measurement of the door frame should fall within the following measurement, Width 2.75ft x Height 7ft / Width 33" inches x Height 84" inches / Width 838mm x Height 2130mm / Width 83.8cm x Height 2.13m. The thickness of inner door frame is quite standard for HDB Flat usually at 35mm (+/- 1mm) or 1 3/8" .
In our context, HDB Flat with door measurement above are usually built after mid 80s but before 2013 or 2014.
There is also exceptional cases that measurement fall beyond stated above. It is usually for those flats without existing frame. It will be better to provide us with pictures or measurement to assess.

For BTO Flat, the usual measurement of the door frame should fall within the following measurement, Width 3ft x Height 7ft / Width 36" inches x Height 84" inches / Width 915mm x Height 2130mm / Width 91.5cm x Height 2.13m. The thickness of inner door frame is quite standard for BTO Flat usually at 35mm (+/- 1mm) or 1 3/8" . Our Aluminium Bifold door will be bolted into the frame. In our context, BTO Flat with door measurement above are usually built after 2013 or 2014. From 2019, we have come across few new BTO estate with door width at 38" inches which price affect the price of the bifold doors.

For Condo, Apartment or Landed, the measurement of your bedroom can varies from Width 33" inches x Height 89" inches to Width 38" inches x Height 89" inches. The thickness of inner door frame is usually at 38mm (+/- 1mm) or 1 4/8" to 44mm (+/- 1mm) or 1 6/8". Do check your measurement when you request for quote. If your measurement falls within the HDB measurement, you too can enjoy our promotion price.

Another point to note, we do not hacked/ removed any existing door frame (wood/ metal/ pvc frame) regardless the condition. Additional cost is required to facilitate the removal of door frames and it does not come cheap due to extensive of work required.

Every toilet doors will have its own door frame but there are also a exceptional cases that does not have door frame. The door frame is installed onto the wall and will support the weight of the previous door swing with hinges. There are 2 types of door frames commonly used in Singapore, mainly wooden door frame and metal door frame. With or without door frame, we are still able to install our Aluminium Bifold Door.
